Keep Going, Keep Pushing

Let’s face it. There are too many people who never accomplish a meaningful goal in life.

Sometimes, it’s because they never start. Other times, it’s because they give up prematurely. Heck, for some, it’s because they don’t even know what they truly want in life!

Sitting down and figuring out what you truly want out of life is more than worth your time. Don’t aimlessly wander through life without any sense of purpose.

Zig said it best, don’t you think? I added my two cents in this video post on Instagram.

Okay… But what if you know what you want in life? What if you’ve been trying and trying and can’t seem to make your dream a reality?

Sure, we can dissect your goal and talk about all kinds of strategies to help you accomplish it. But guess what? You’re the most qualified person to figure it out.

Who knows your pros and cons more than you? I reckon no one understands your personal variables more than you.

No one can tell you how you feel about things. No one can tell you what you’re willing to do or how much you’re willing to push. No, the only person who knows that without a doubt is you.

“Okay Luis, so then why are you emailing me this?” Glad you asked.

I’m emailing you to tell you to keep going. Keep pushing through. Don’t give up.

If you know what you truly want, then stop doubting yourself. It’s only a matter of time. And the amount of time it takes will depend on how invested you are in the outcome.

The mathematics of goal achieving is quite simple. Your level of effort has the inverse effect on the amount of time it takes you to complete a goal.

Less Effort = More Time | More Effort = Less Time.

Yes, it’s really that simple. Stop overthinking and get to work.

If you need inspiration, then give a listen to a recent episode of Enemy Within You.

That’s Aaron Hankins, an Aerospace Engineer turned Nike Show Engineer. I interviewed him for the podcast.

If there’s anyone who knows what it takes to keep pushing, it’s Aaron. His path from the Aerospace industry to Nike wasn’t easy.

He’s also the first interview on the podcast. That alone should tell you something about him.

Enjoy the episode. Talk soon.
